HORROR MOVIES YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO WATCH ALONE AT NIGHT

by preeshita

We all love boasting about how fearless and realistic we are. Well, most of us do that! We say that we don’t believe in ghosts. We watch horror movies maybe to ridicule the fallacies in them or just for entertainment. And we claim that we aren’t afraid. Well, following are 5 horror movies that you dare not watch alone at night. Otherwise, you will want to refigure ‘ I am fearless and realistic’ theorem!

HORROR MOVIES YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO WATCH ALONE AT NIGHT

These 5 ghost movies will make you re-think the parameters of fear itself.

1. GRUDGE series.

Ju-On!

We kick start our list with one of the top-rated horror movies from ‘Ju-On- The Grudge‘. Actually, it is the American re-make of the Japanese Ju-On. The film was released in North America on October 22, 2004, by Columbia Pictures and was directed by Takashi Shimizu. The plot is told through a non-linear sequence of events and includes several intersecting subplots. The film was a box office success, making over $187 million against a $10 million budget. The most important lesson that I learned from this series is that grudges are not quite footloose. After watching the movies, I bet you won’t want anyone to have grudge against you. Or you may start thinking grudges to be some chewing gum that sticks on to you for a lifetime.

2. THE RING series.

The Ring

Here’s another popular horror movie of all times. Directed by Gore Verbinski, all the movies feature this apparition of a young girl who deeply cherishes this desire to be known by all and have a loving mother. Watch out, if you don’t abide by her requests, she crawls out of your TV and kills you. Start spreading the word or you die.

3. THE CONJURING.

The Conjuring

This one needs no formal introduction. The first movie of the series was a serious blockbuster. Taken out from the pages of Ed and Lorraine’s  demonic adventures, the movie follows the couple on another of their sinister cases. A family with 7 girls and their parents is being haunted by a witch who is under 6 feet. And only love, faith, compassion and God can save them from the clutches of this wicked worshipper of Satan.

4. THE WOMAN IN BLACK.

The Woman in Black

This is another one of the best horror movies of all time. The movie features our Harry Potter Hero, Daniel Radcliff, all grown up. He’s a widower and a father of a very pretty daughter. But daddy’s job is not holding out fine and he will be kicked out soon if doesn’t pitch right back in. So he has to move away to an isolated palatial house on an equally isolated island cut off from the mainland. It is accessible only during the low tide. Secluded the house may be, but Daniel is not alone. He constantly feels the presence of a woman clad in black mourning gown with a veil, all over the house. Also, the village is plagued by some curse that kills all the children. Unable to restrain himself, he embarks on the quest to get to the bottom of the mystery.

5. THE OMEN.

The Omen

This one might not be as popular as the other horror movies on the list. However, it is worth checking out and you won’t regret your decision. What if your child gets exchanged with a devil’s son born out of a black wolf? Double check your kid before you discharge your wife and kid from the hospital.
